15 + 15 - Asana and Meditation
In some yoga traditions, Asana functions as a way to prepare the body for meditation. So it may be worthwhile to explore how your meditation practice feels when you spend a bit of time moving/softening/opening the body beforehand. That's exactly the intention behind today's two-part class. We'll begin with 15 minutes of gentle, flowing movement and follow with 15 minutes of meditation. Props recommended: whatever you prefer for comfort and support--both for Asana and for meditation!
